It's 2007! Last night, we had a great party. I took lots of pics (coming later) and we had a fun time all last night. We played games, and we had desserts, and a buffet style dinner, and everything was good. I can't wait until next Christmas, and New Years. It will be here very soon, because the years are just flying by!

Later, I'm going to load all of my pictures on my computer, and post them.

We stayed at the party until nearly 1:00 AM. It was a really late night, but very fun. It took us a long time to get home from Chelsea, Quebec (It does not usually, because it's not that far from us. It usually takes about 30 minutes to an hour.) because there was heavy freezing rain, and the driving conditions were horrible. Today we have to clean up our driveway, and walk area because it's all icy.

I just want to do a quick post here today. I want to introduce you to my new website: www.bluesummerskies.net. It's going to be a bit of a personal blog, and a tutorial and web design blog. It's going to be powered by Movable Type, because I will probably be creating more than one blog on the domain.

I'm currently uploading MT to the server. It takes a long time. I think it's almost done, though.

Update: I've replaced MT with WordPress. Put in my old WordPress blog that was an attempt to start a design site back in 2005. I've revamped it, and I will be using that.

Well, the holidays have officially come to an end. I am so upset! I don't want to go back to school! :-( The next holiday is March Break. I'm looking forward to it. After that, the school year is done, but that's not for another 5 months. It's hard to believe that we already blew through 5 months of school- now, only five more months to go. It won't be very long, because this new school seems to be fun-- so far! I don't think it's that long until we finish up second term or simester- whatever it's called. After that we go in to our final term/simester of school before the summer.

It's not that long to go! I do hope we can go on vacation during March break. It's almost been a year since our last real trip. We went to Dallas, Texas to visit family- that was last March.(you can read all about my travels on my TraveLOG.).

Tomorrow is school. Not much else to talk about. We're going out later today, and that's about it.

Since school has started again, My latest project- Bluesummerskies.net had been slowed down a bit. It will be ready probably if everything goes well- by next week. I don't expect too many visitors or members for the first while, or maybe even a year, but I know it will build up like my other sites.

Bluesummerskies.net tutorials is up and running, but not all of the blogs have been added to the Movable Type installation, and everything is not completely set up. I'm going to be working on it during my spare time throughout the week, and then next week, start actually posting tutorials. I hope to get visitors to it, so you probably will see a lot of Bluesummerskies being posted to my sites.

I've downloaded a lot of templates, and I am planning on modifying one, and turining it into a design for this site. Opendesigns.org is a really cool site, and I will be contribuating when I have the time!

• Aspartame Side Effects- All of the horrible side effects of Aspartame, and artificial sweetener. It's in diet drinks, sugarfree gum, and all sorts of other things. This tells you all of the nasty side effects of aspartame. It can go as far as killing you.
• An Inconvenient Truth- I'm not sure if I wrote about this before. This site talks about Global Warming, and what we can do to stop it. An Inconvenient Truth is also a documentary, featuring Al Gore. It's now available on DVD.

A few days ago, I posted about my newest website, Bluesummerskies.net. It was meant to be a simple little tutorial blog. I've changed it to a small web design Business! I know there won't be clients for a while, but I might just start advertising it around the area where I live. I'm excited about this, It would be great to make money off one of my sites. I'm still setting up the website. I've created everything, but I'm still adding the content on some of the pages, but I will get that done really soon.

It's powered by WordPress, one of my favourite blogging tools. Since this is just a website, and has no blog on it, I'm using WordPress as a Content Management System (CMS). You can easily do this by modifying your WordPress themes, and adding a few plugins. The design is based on a template by Andreas Viklund. Of course, as I do with all of my templates, I modify them, some quite drastically to make it how I want them.

I do prefer to make my own, and even then, I'm always changing them, so they look completely different than what they started out as.

I hope for Clients at BlueSummerskies Design! I still have some work to do, so I have to get going.

Today, it is soooo cold and windy, it's crazy! It's been snowing since early this morining, and it's supposed to continue on throughout the day. I like the snow, kind of. It might even stay for a while this time, who knows!

I'm almost done BlueSummerskies Design. I hope very much that I get it done soon. I'm sick today, so I'm staying home from school, so this will give me some time to get some of these done and up and running. Since I'm home today, and I don't really have too much to do, I will be on my computer for most of the day, blogging, and finishing up my little web projects here and there.

I'm staying home again today, because I'm sick. I'm going back to school tomorrow. I'm feeling a lot better now. I had a four day weekend- so far! :-)! I'm only going to have a three day week, because I stayed home yesterday, and I'm staying home today.

I've been working on my websites, and I'm nearly done BlueSummerskies Design!! I'm very excited to get it completely done.

• Dragon Naturally Speaking 9- This is really cool. This is computer software, that includes a headset in which you talk into. You can control your computer by telling it what to do. Simply say word documents say emails, and it will automatically type it out as fast as you say it. Control programs, and even switch web browsers. Really cool.
• Scuba Diving Cat- Odd... most cats hate the water, but this cat likes to go scuba diving with a dog. Really.... odd

Just a quick note. On the weekend, I will be going to visit my Grandparents, and I will not be here. I'll be back Sunday. I'm going to be leaving in about an hour. That's It!
