One of the biggest winter celebrations have started. Winterlude started yesterday. It's one of Canada's biggest winter celebrations, and it's happening now. Lights, IIce sculptures, Skating on the world's longest skating rink- the Rideau Canal. I've been to Winterlude before, at day and at night and it is really fun, and it looks really nice with the ice sculptures, and lights. Some of tthe ice sculptures even light up. It's really nice.

Anyone around the Ottawa-Gatineau area should go to winterlude... Or if you are on vacation or a trip to ottawa, now is a great time to go!

Today marks half of the School year is done! New High School Simester started today (At Schools here in Ottawa at least). It went by fast, and now just a little more to go, and this school year is done! It is exciting. I can't wait until it is done!

That's It! It's just good news that School is nearly done!

You may have noticed my site looks new and improved! It's a nice clean and simple design, but it's definately not complete yet. I still have some more graphics to add, and I still have to do a lot of tweaking to the code. I thought the old old design was far to simple, and not that nice looking. I'm tired of winter, so I put up a green, and light blue design, kind of like summer. So far, I'm quite pleased with it.

I also want to get back to writing a post almost every day. I was doing good before, but I have now just slowed way down. I was very busy, and when I wasn't too busy, I was redesigning this site, and redesigning and improving Shanebellinger.com.

I probably won't get around to it, but I would like to Upgrade Movable Type, the platform that this blog/site runs on. I've become really good at WordPress over the last two years. I always keep Shanebellinger.com, my WP powered site with the up to date version of WordPress. I want to keep this site with the up to date version of Movable Type, but I don't have too much of an experience in Upgrading MT. I think I could do it, but I don't want to risk it. I will upgrade, when I learn how to upgrade MT. Upgrading is not a big priority right now, though.

I really want to get back blogging, and I really want to take more Photos! I have not done that in a while. I really want to get back to Photography.

Today is my birthday!! It's hard to believe that it's already here again. On Saturday, my family wants to throw a little 'party' for me. It's not going to be too big. I'm looking forward to having the party.

I know that there will be some gifts for me (yay!) And I'm looking forward to everything. I just thought I'd write this! That's it!

I wanted to post for all of my readers and anyone visiting this site. Happy Valentine's Day! It's here again, and I completely forgot!! I was going to make some graphics and nice stuff for today, but I forgot. I wanted to wish everone celebrating tonight a very happy night!

The weather here is FREEZING and there is blowing snow, and a lot of new snow on the grownd. I cant wait for the warm weather to come!

I've been doing horrible at posting to this blog. I'm going to try really hard to keep it updated, even if it's just going to be small little posts, or Links Collection Posts. I've been good at updating Shanebellinger.com, and I also have written quite a bit at BlueSummerSkies.

I really want to get some photos posted here, but I have not had the chance to go around and post photos. I'm going to do that soon!

This is a personal weblog. It's weird having two. My other site was supposed to be a personal blog. This site was intended to be a Photoblog, and I also host a travel blog, and a test site on this domain. Since I don't have time to take photos right now, I've also been using this as a personal blog, but I write my stuff on shanebellinger.com, and there is nothing left for me to talk about. That's why this site is not being updated too often. I WILL TRY HARDER!!

Yay!!! I am so happy with myself. I did some nice new graphics on my other blog that people actually like! I made them using Adobe Photoshop. I'm getting more and more used to it, and it's becoming easier. Now I can actually make nicer graphics. Now that I've learned about the fancy tools, and different features, I will be making all of the graphics on all of my sites look a lot nicer.

I'm truly happy with Shanebellinger.com now. It looks a lot better and has a better feel and look. I looked at some other sites that I really liked, and they inspired me to create the perfect (for now, anyway) graphics for my site. I will turn to a pro web designer eventually. I'm thinking E. Webscapes.

This weekend will be a three day weekend for us at our school!! It will also be a three day week for me because I'm not going next Friday. I'm sooo happy about this. I get time to actually do stuff now! Next weekend I will probably be away, and that's about it!

I just really wanted to post this. I know it was a really lame post. I can't wait to start taking photos again!

This weekend we're finally going to be doing some stuff that's amusing. We're going to go out and shop places, and then we're going to go skiing or tubing!!! It's really exciting! It's the first time I've done any winter activities yet this winter. I'm glad I'm going to get to do some stuff before the snow melts.

I might take pictures, but I'm not quite sure yet. I don't want to loose the cameras while skiing, or get it broken, but I'll see. I want to get some photos posted to this site!!!

I can't wait for tomorrow! It's also going to be a short week because it's the winter activity day next Friday, and I wont be going, and Monday's a PD day at school- no school! Two three day weekends and a three day week! I'm so happy!

I went Snow Tubing on the Weekend. I took some nice pictures of the winter scenery. It looks really nice. I love it! I only took about two- but there nice, and I'll post them as soon as I do some work on them and get them uploaded.

It's a short week this week, and I'm really happy. Only two days until my weekend! I'm again excited for this weekend! Next week on Friday, is the last day until March Break!!! I'm so happy! I'm getting so much spare time!!!

It's already the very last day of February! I am so excited! There is lots of snow melting. I can't wait for Spring to come either! I am looking forward to the warm weather and all the green again!! I hate all of the cold and the snow. I just want Spring to get here!!! I can't wait!!!
