I can't believe what I just did!! I accidentally deleted the WordPress database for my site Shanebellinger.com!!! I am so angry about this. I'm talking to my webhost's tech support right now, and they might be able to restore the database for me. I would be sooo relieved if they could. If they can't than I will have to import all my posts from my old WordPress.com blog to shanebellinger.com and just start over from there... But I really hope to get things back to normal.

I just want to do a quick post here today. I want to introduce you to my new website: www.bluesummerskies.net. It's going to be a bit of a personal blog, and a tutorial and web design blog. It's going to be powered by Movable Type, because I will probably be creating more than one blog on the domain.

I'm currently uploading MT to the server. It takes a long time. I think it's almost done, though.

Update: I've replaced MT with WordPress. Put in my old WordPress blog that was an attempt to start a design site back in 2005. I've revamped it, and I will be using that.

Since school has started again, My latest project- Bluesummerskies.net had been slowed down a bit. It will be ready probably if everything goes well- by next week. I don't expect too many visitors or members for the first while, or maybe even a year, but I know it will build up like my other sites.

Bluesummerskies.net tutorials is up and running, but not all of the blogs have been added to the Movable Type installation, and everything is not completely set up. I'm going to be working on it during my spare time throughout the week, and then next week, start actually posting tutorials. I hope to get visitors to it, so you probably will see a lot of Bluesummerskies being posted to my sites.

As I mentioned in my last post, I’m getting a MacBook. It’s coming sometime (probably closer to the end of the week) Next week! I can hardly wait! I’ve been wanting a MacBook for so long now, and its getting closer and closer!

The Mac I chose was a more basic model, but from what I’ve heard about them, every mac is really good. I’m Getting the MacBook Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz in White. I saw a model at the store, and it look really nice. I love everything about the MacBook.

I have used a mac before, and I like it a lot more than windows. I have a desktop PC, and I wanted a laptop. I like the Mac’s system, so I decided to go with the MacBook. I looked at soooo many different laptops for months now, and I think the MacBook is the right one for me.

I have heard a lot of positive comments from Mac and MacBook users. I like the way Macs run, and I really love the way the MacBook looks, too.

I also mentioned in my last post that I was going to get an iPod. I did. I bought a brand new Silver 2GB iPod nano. I’m not going to start using it until I get my Mac.

I am so looking forward to the End of the Week next week!!

I have some visitors that come to this site, but not a whole lot. I want to improve this site. I will be adding some more random photos soon, and I hope to add more things, that would make this site a lot more interesting, and attract more visitors.

I will be adding lots of photos soon, and in about four or five weeks, the snow should start to go away slowly, and I hope to take some pictures of spring coming in. Over the next few months, there will be a lot of new photos being posted here. I also hope to do some things to this site that will make it more interesting. I also hope, in a while, when I get time, I will be able to update the design of the site. It is getting a little bit old. I hope to do a lot more work on my sites soon!

I'm so behind I still have not uploaded photos that I was supposed to a little over a year ago. Here they are now. This collection of photos were taken in Chelsea, QC, Canada. Most of them are of the Outaouais river and the surrounding autumn scenery. I'm sure that mostly friends and family read this site, but I know that there are also a few others.
